Our firm represented an Israeli construction company that is part of a leading international construction group, specializing in the design and construction of complex projects. We were involved in arbitrations worth hundreds of millions of shekels against companies that specialize in the initiation and planning of server farms. The dispute was centered around the establishment of three large-scale server farms in Israel, currently operated by a leading company that provides cloud services among others. The company was the main contractor for these projects. After a long and complex negotiation, the parties reached agreements that were anchored in a settlement agreement. As per the agreement, the opposing party committed to pay the company a large sum of over NIS100 million in addition to all the amounts paid to the company during the life of the project.
