In this Client Update, the partners, Nir Keidar and Shai Sharvit, reviews the Promotion and Protection of Investments Agreement that was signed by the State of Israel and the United Arab Emirates On 20 October 2020 (“Israel-UAE BIT”).
The Israel-UAE BIT is one of several agreements signed in the wake of the Abraham Accords (the Treaty of Peace, Diplomatic Relations and Full Normalization between the United Arab Emirates and the State of Israel, signed in Washington DC on 15 September 2020) [see our previous update].
