Chaim Friedland is a partner at Gornitzky & Co.
Chaim’s practice is focused on capital raising transactions and mergers and acquisitions involving Israeli and multinational corporations. He has extensive experience in capital markets transactions, including both equity and debt raising transactions (including Rule 144A/Regulation S transactions) where he has acted for both issuers and underwriters.
Chaim is also active in representing Israeli and foreign corporations in M&A transactions, including transactions involving companies publicly traded in the United States and Israel.
In addition, Chaim acts for private equity firms and emerging companies in connection with private capital raising transactions. He has extensive experience in acting for private investment funds in connection with complex equity and debt investments and dispositions.
With his vast experience, Chaim is frequently invited as a guest lecturer at Israel’s leading universities.
Prior to joining Gornitzky, Chaim was a partner at another leading Israeli law firm. From 1998 to 2003, Chaim was an attorney in the corporate department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York. Chaim also served as a staff attorney at the Israel Antitrust Authority in Jerusalem, Israel from 1996-1997.
Chaim is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Shalem Center, a Jerusalem-based research and educational institute dedicated to developing and transmitting ideas in the areas most crucial to the intellectual and public life of the Jewish people.
