Daniel’s main field of expertise is litigation and dispute resolution, with an emphasis on the areas of class actions, administrative law, commercial disputes and environmental protection.
Daniel has extensive experience in representing leading commercial companies, as well as individuals, in a variety of complex litigation cases, conducted in various legal courts and in arbitration, in diverse legal areas such as real estate, commercial agreements, shareholder disputes, profitable real estate, lawsuits against position holders, apartment sales, infrastructure, consumerism, insurance and long-term savings, environmental hazards, sheltered housing, transportation and more.
Daniel accompanies many Israeli companies in class-action proceedings in a variety of fields. Prominent proceedings in which Daniel took part include class actions concerning claims of “covert advertising” by celebrities on the Instagram network, class actions relating to allegations of air pollution hazards in train stations, a class action regarding the claim of double insurance between the private health insurance plans and the additional health services offered through the supplementary insurance of the health funds, and more.
In addition, Daniel has extensive experience in administrative law. In the field of tenders, Daniel provided representation in the procedures related to the tender for the construction and operation of the largest waste-treatment facility in Israel, in procedures concerning the tender for the construction of the largest solar power plant in Israel in the city of Dimona, and more. In addition, Daniel also provided representation in many diverse administrative proceedings, such as a petition to the Supreme Court to annul judgments given by the rabbinic courts in the absence of subject-matter authority, a petition to the Supreme Court against the Electricity Authority and the Israel Land Authority in the matter of a facility for energy production using photovoltaic technology, and—as part of a pro-bono office activity—representation of mothers of students at the Branco-Weiss school, in a petition against the decision of the Ramla Municipality to close the school.
