Idan Baki is a partner at Gornitzky GNY.
Idan currently primarily divides his time between finance transactions, and corporate and M&A transactions.
In his finance practice, Idan has experience in a wide range of financing transactions, demonstrating diversified, in depth finance expertise, which includes margin loans, acquisition finance, structured finance and derivatives.
Focusing primarily on borrower side, Idan represents buyers and sponsors in acquisition finance and project finance. Idan also has extensive experience in derivatives, representing clients in various types of transactions (including ISDA documentation), and generally advising clients on banking and financial regulation issues.
In the Corporate and the Mergers & Acquisitions practices, Idan is active representing both buyers and sellers, Israeli and foreign, in M&A transactions (auctions, privately negotiated deals, mergers, LBOs, and various other acquisition and capital raising transactions). Idan also serves as corporate counsel to a number of Israeli start-up companies, and advises clients on various aspects of corporate and commercial law.
In addition, Idan combines his work with his studies at the Porter School of Earth Sciences and Environmental Studies at Tel Aviv University, and is involved in projects pertaining to environmental issues, such as a municipal solid waste facility BOT project, environmental studies for clients and due diligence of environmental aspects in M&A transactions.
