Mrs. Liron Karass is a partner at Gornitzky GNY.
Liron’s leads the firm’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practice, and advised clients on white collar investigation and civil litigation.
Liron joined the firm on 2015 as an intern in the white collar and litigation practice, and served as a Legal Assistant to the firm’s chairman, Adv. Pinhas Rubin for several years. In 2024 Liron was appointed as partner.
With a dedicated focus on ESG principles, Liron leads a team of cross-disciplinary attorneys specializing environmental & climate change, corporate governance, finance, litigation, and labor law. She provides comprehensive guidance on ESG strategy implementation and compliance with local and international regulations and voluntary standards.
Liron’s expertise extends to advising clients on ethics, internal enforcement and compliance matters, including internal investigations and large scale E-discovery projects. Her compliance advisory practice includes developing ethics (CoC) and compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, third-party due diligence, remediation processes, and delivering tailored compliance training.
Liron advises real estate developers, contractors and various suppliers in the field of occupational safety and health, covering aspects of internal enforcement and accident prevention strategies. She represent clients in criminal and administrative proceedings resulting from violations of safety regulations.
In her litigation practice, Liron represents clients in civil and criminal proceedings, including white-collar crime such as corruption, financial, tax and securities offenses, as well as derivative and class actions. She has experience in both domestic and cross-border investigations, including those conducted by multilateral banks such as the World Bank Group.
Liron’s clientele is diverse, spanning industries such as construction, energy, banking, financial services, transportation, aviation, retail, and hospitality. She advises some of Israel’s largest public and private enterprises, as well as private clients and prominent business executives from Israel and abroad.
