Maya’s primary area of practice is Project Finance involving a wide range of sectors including energy, infrastructure and transportation. Maya provides ongoing legal counsel to Israeli and international clients with respect to complex and large-scale tenders and BOT/PFI projects in a variety of fields, including infrastructure and energy, as well as entrepreneurial projects.
In this framework, Maya covers all aspects of project development and financing from initial tender stages through execution and completion of the financial closing, and provides legal advice with respect to all financing, construction, operation and maintenance aspects (including drafting and negotiation of shareholders arrangements, financing agreements and EPC and O&M contracts), as well as providing ongoing legal advice throughout the project life cycle.
In addition, Maya also devotes part of her practice to representation of the firm’s clients in complex financing transactions in various fields, and has extensive experience in representing borrowers against commercial banks and institutional entities.
