Shlomo Landress is a partner and the Head of the Technology Practice at Gornitzky GNY.
Shlomo specializes in venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, joint ventures, licensing and U.S securities. He also advises clients on incorporation, corporate governance and a wide range of commercial agreements (such as manufacturing, OEM, distribution/reseller, finder-fees, Terms of Use and EULAs).
Shlomo’s clients include venture capital funds, private investors, family offices, private equity funds, startups, Unicorns, and Israeli companies listed in the United States. He routinely supports entrepreneurs in numerous technology fields, in the setting up of their venture, through its ongoing operations, investment rounds, and successful exit transaction. This includes advice on founders’ agreements, option agreements and plans, employment and services agreements, repurchase agreements, etc.
Previously, Shlomo practiced corporate and securities law with Arnold & Porter, New York and was the legal advisor to the Israeli Economic Mission to North America. Leveraging this experience, Shlomo has successfully represented investors and acquirers, both Israeli and foreign, in cross-border transactions, bridging cultural and legal gaps.
Shlomo is a graduate of both Tel Aviv University and NYU School of Law and is a member of the Israeli and New York Bar Associations.
