Gornitzky represented Dan Public Transportation Ltd in a complex investment deal with Dan Europe Israel, a partnership established by Europe Israel Fund and Value Base Group in which Dan will assign 40% of the holdings to the investor, alongside the option to expand the holdings up to 50% of the companies’ capital. The deal is based on the companies’ worth; currently about 1.26 billion NIS. This deal acts as another step in a strategic plan of transforming Dan from a corporation to a company, a process Gornitzky has been assisting with since the early 2000’s, and another step towards converting Dan to a public company traded in the TASE.
