Our firm is representing OPC Energy (OPCE) alongside Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates in a transaction for the acquisition of CPV Competitive Power Ventures group, which operates in the field of power generation in the United States, for a total amount of approximately $630 million (and additional amounts to be invested in CPV projects).
In addition, in connection with the transaction, our firm has represented OPC Energy in private placement agreements with Clal Insurance and Phoenix Group in the total amount of NIS 350 million and in the public offering of bonds (Series B) in the amount of NIS 560 million and in a public offering of shares in a total amount of NIS 736 million.
