Our firm advised the Israel Corp. in a transaction for the sale of shares in Bazan (a refining and petrochemicals conglomerate) that it owns, amounting to 9% of the issued capital of Bazan. The sale was made to a number of institutional entities in exchange for a total amount of approximately NIS 265 million. In addition, as part of the transaction, the Israel Corp. granted those purchasers a call option to purchase additional Bazan shares owned by it.
