Our firm represented Maurice Haliva, a businessman living abroad, in a complex dispute between him and shareholders Jacky Ben Zaken and Abraham Nanikashvili, at the real-estate company Manor A.D. Construction and Investments, whose assets are worth hundreds of millions of NIS.
As part of the dispute, special legal proceedings were taken on behalf of the client (such as a motion to dismiss a settlement that had been given the force of a ruling).
The parties recently initiated discussions with an eye toward a compromise, and last week a settlement was signed, which was given the force of a ruling.
The businessman was represented by partners Ofer Tzur (Head of Litigation) and Itzik Lazar, together with Associates Omer Razin and Daniel Cohen.
Partner Shiri Shani and Senior Associate Maor Israeli assisted in real-estate and taxation aspects.
