Our firm represents Geffen Hedge Funds and Cramim Capital Markets, which hold shares in the publicly traded ‘Vonetize’, in a request to annul a creditors’ settlement, in which the controlling shareholders, including the brothers Gabriel and Omar Barzani, undertook to merge the activities of the American cannabis company owned by them into Vonetize.
As part of the petition, Geffen and Cramim demonstrated that the controlling shareholders made false representations and breached obligations under the arrangement and demanded that the return their shares to the creditors’ settlement trustee, and that an investigation that would examine the extent of the damages caused be conducted.
‘Geffen’ and ‘Cramim’ are represented by Partners Ofer Tzur (Head of Litigation) and Shani Weiss, together with Associate Nofar Batsri.
