Dismissal of an Appeal against a Judgment that dismissed a claim on the threshold

Our firm successfully represented a foreign company and its Israeli shareholders, in rebutting an appeal filed with the District Court in Haifa, against a judgment given in favor of our clients in the Family Court, where requests for dismissal on the threshold filed by our firm were received, due to, among other things, that the forum in Israel is not the proper forum and because a court Family Affairs does not have the substantive authority to discuss the claim. After hearing the appeal, the district court gave its verdict, dismissed the appeal and ordered the appellant to pay additional court costs.
