Hilton

Our firm represents Hilton Worldwide Manage Limited in defending against an appeal filed by French businessman Mr. Michel Ohayon to the Supreme Court, challenging a ruling by the Jerusalem District Court. The ruling confirmed the enforcement in Israel of foreign arbitration awards (ICC) against Ohayon, amounting to approximately NIS 100 million. As part of the appeal, Ohayon (the appellant) submitted a request to stay the execution of the district court’s ruling pending the appeal’s decision. After our firm submitted an objection to the request for a stay, the Supreme Court issued a detailed decision rejecting the request and ordered Mr. Ohayon to pay legal costs in favor of Hilton.
