Mahir v. Shufersal & Em Hachita

Our firm successfully represented Shufersal in a request for certification of a class action filed in the Tel Aviv-Yafo District Court against Shufersal and against Em Hachita company, alleging product shrinkage. After our firm submitted a response to the motion for certification on behalf of Shufersal and a preliminary hearing was held, the court was convinced that there was no cause of action against Shufersal. Accordingly, the court recommended that the plaintiff withdraw the request for certification against Shufersal. The plaintiff accepted the recommendation, and a ruling was given dismissing the claim against Shufersal, stating that there was no cause of action against them.
