Our firm represented the IDE group in the dismissal of a petition and a request for interim injunctions filed against its winning of a tender worth billions of NIS for water desalination in the Western Galilee. The petition was submitted to the District Court in Jerusalem by a company controlled by Shapir Engineering and JAS and dealt with the proper interpretation of clauses from the tender documents concerning the mechanisms of establishing rates and methods of linking energy and electricity prices. The interim orders requested by the petitioner contained remedies in the form of cancellation of the disqualification decision, and even cancellation of the entire tender. At the hearing, the court accepted all of our claims, the petitioner agreed to the court’s recommendation to withdraw the petition, and the court imposed the expenses on the petitioner.
