Our firm successfully represented several heirs in an appeal filed with the Supreme Court against the ruling of the Central District Court. The appeal centered on the dismissal of a claim filed against our clients for the enforcement of a lease agreement dating back to the 1950s, signed between our clients’ predecessors and the entrepreneurial arm of the Histadrut Labor Federation for the purpose of establishing a neighborhood for Orthodox Jews in Hod Hasharon. A counterclaim filed by our clients for the cancellation of the long-term lease agreement due to multiple breaches was approved. After our clients submitted a response to the appeal, and an oral hearing was held, the Supreme Court recommended that the appellant withdraw their appeal, and the appeal was dismissed. This marks a successful end to a complex legal process spanning over 7 years, involving various discussions in contractual law, real estate law, and statute of limitations.
